Along with the shortage of global mineral resources and the enhancement of environment protection consciousness, people have turned to clean fuel and energy for living and production. Biomass pellet fuel, as a kind of renewable energy, has a burgeoning development due to its green production technology and zero pollution to the environment.
Most developing countries are recognizing the need to invest on wood pellet machine, and Vietnam is no exception. Wood pellet machine is much more popular in Vietnam. As a rich productive country, Vietnam is located in tropics. It is special suitable for the grain crops, cash crops and forests growing because of the adequate illumination, ample rainfall and fertile soil. And all these plants provide plentiful raw materials for biomass pellets in wood pellet machine.

❀ Vietnam is rich in planting industry, forestry, agricultural product processing industry, etc. Therefore, forestry wastes, sawdust for sawmills, fruit industries residues, pruning, agroforestry schemes and many dedicated plantations provide a unique potential for Vietnam to process biomass pellets, thus turning wastes into treasure and achieving the goal of natural resources recycling.
❀ Vietnam is the traditional agricultural country, rice, corn, sorghum, sugarcane; beans, groundnuts, nuts, etc. are mainly planted. It is the second largest country in exporting rice in the world. Rice can be harvested two times per year, even three times in the South Vietnam. Abundant rice straws and rice husks can be directly turned into pellets in the wood pellet machine. Besides, coffee export business is among the largest in the world. After simple process, the coffee shells can be pressed into pellets. Additionally, other crops stalks or straws, corncobs, bagasse, legumes, groundnuts shell, etc. can also be processed into biomass pellets easily in the wood pellet mill.
❀ Vietnam is also rich in forest resource. Areas of mountain forests is about half of the land area, therefore, abundant forestry wastes can be recycled into biomass pellets. With a large and rapidly expanding timber industry, Vietnam could potentially become an important wood pellet producer; the total sawdust was estimated to be 5.8 million tones in 2011.
Therefore, wood pellet mill, the key equipment in biomass pellet fuel industry, has accepted by more and more people in Vietnam due to the abundant accessible raw materials.
