During wood pellet machine processing material, it’s possible that the pelletizer will result spindle shaking, which will not only exert a worse influence on the procedure of the pelletizing, but can also have a worst impact on the size and surface finish of pellets.
There are several causes for this phenomenon:
♧ The spindle end is not tightened or can’t be locked tight;
♧ The spindle bearing is deformed and wore;
♧ There is too much clearance between spline and spline fitting, the spindle end key slot and the axis of rotation, axis of rotation and the safety pin fitting, safety pin and safety pin set, the safety pin set and the safety pin fitting, the ring die inner hole out of round circle is much bigger than 30 percent,etc.
♧ The two rollers clearance adjustment is not uniform, and so on;
The solution procedures of these causes as following:
☞check whether the spindle is tightened. remove the refueling system and shaft gland,then check whether the butterfly spring is deformed. If the butterfly spring become flatten, you should replace the new butterfly spring, then tighten the lock screw on the shaft gland;
☞ check whether the shaft bearing is better. If the spindle is still shaking, you should remove shaft gland, put copper under the shaft, bring the shaft out of bearing along with the direction of the ring die, and check whether the shaft bearing is better. You should renew the shaft bearing,when the too much clearance exist into the bearings,then install the shaft back. There are some attentions to pay during installing, the most important is putting the shaft bearing inner ring in the suitable place. Under normal circumstances, only there is 10 cm end face length between the two shaft sides and the rotating wheel, it is assembled in place.
☞ check whether clearance is suitable. Check range including spline and spline fitting, the spindle end key slot and the axis of rotation, axis of rotation and the safety pin fitting, and the ring die inner hole out of round circle,etc. You should replace the new one, if there are too much clearance.
☞ check the clearance between roller and die. If there is large clearance,you should adjust it to the appropriate level. if not so, which maybe cause some other problems,such as shaft shaking, discharge unsuccessfully, electricity current unsteadily and so on.
In a word,you should select suitable solutions in order to reduce the failure in production, according to the different causes of your pelletizer.
